Job Overview

Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) is seeking creative and passionate Social Media Volunteers to help amplify our digital presence. Volunteers will assist in content creation, community engagement, and social media strategy across various platforms. This role is ideal for social media enthusiasts looking to gain hands-on experience in the housing and construction industry while making a real impact.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content (text, images, videos) for AIHS’s social media platforms.
  • Manage and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling social media posts.
  • Monitor trends and suggest creative ideas to increase engagement.
  • Collaborate with the media team to develop promotional campaigns for events and initiatives.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling.
  • Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools) are a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
