With more than 20 years of experience in strategic positions in the banking sector and multilateral financial institutions, Thierno-Habib HANN is the Managing Director/CEO of Shelter Afrique. Habib was the Asia/Pacific Lead for housing finance & capital markets at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), based in Bangkok and previously in charge of Africa and the Middle East, based in Nairobi. Habib has led the strategy and implementation of housing finance programs globally with a portfolio of over USD 2 billion. Over the years, he has developed housing finance transactions in the US, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Africa valued over USD32billion.
