Ify Umunnakwe-Okeke has over 17 years combined work experience in international corporate law, investment banking and private equity. She is a qualied solicitor in England & Wales and has an MSc in Finance, Regulation and Risk Management from ICMA Business School, University of Reading. Umunnakwe-Okeke worked in the London Office of a leading US Law FRM for several years before relocating to Nigeria. In 2005, Mrs Umunnakwe-Okeke was the Regional Head of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management's (a member of the Standard Bank Group) Northern Ofce. She left Stanbic in 2008 to join BGL Private Equity as its pioneer Chief Financial Officer before leaving in 2009 to set up Lexon Capital, a rm specialising in arranging private equity investment for projects, institutions and companies.
